So awesome, I've had so many donations today (Friday, April 16th) - the kindness is really overwhelming. This means so much to me, and I really can't thank you all enough!!!

Take a step closer to a cure.

Hi!  I assume, by your navigating to this page, that you are interested in supporting the MS Society.  Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.  I know that the economy isn't doing so well, and that there are probably many other things you could be doing right now - so please know that I really do appreciate it, and I will certainly thank you personally should your donation be submitted non-anonymously.

YES, EVEN ONE DOLLAR IS AWESOME:  Last year I raised over $700.  Aside from a few very generous contributions, please know that the majority of people gave me small amounts like one or two dollars.  It does add up.  Please sponsor me for a dollar if you can.  And obviously, if you would like to contribute more - that's great too.

If you don't want to donate through this online system, please let me know and I will make arrangements to meet with you - I can take cheques made payable to the MS Society of Canada, as well as cash.  I can also take credit card information on my sponsor forms, but I would prefer you just use this Web site if you're looking to donate in that manner.

A lot of people don't know about Multiple Sclerosis, but on the other hand - a lot of people are affected by it.  According to a 2005 Leger Marketing survey, 1 in 2 Canadians know someone with MS. That means someone in your school, sports team or work place - perhaps even you - knows someone with MS. Researchers are optimistic about finding the cure for this unpredictable disease. Events like the Super Cities WALK for MS help fund research initiatives that are of great importance in the global fight against multiple sclerosis.

“There is much research taking place around the world that is looking to improve the life of people with MS and eliminate the disease for future generations,” said Dr. William J. McIlroy, national medical advisor for the MS Society of Canada. “The quality of MS research in this country is such that I feel Canadian researchers will play a pivotal role in finding the cause and cure.”

Your support will make a difference in the fight against multiple sclerosis; help bring MS to an end
.  Thanks so much guys, you rock!!!
